1. What we collect
When you create a kati account we collect your Nigerian phone number, and optionally your full name and email address if you choose to provide them. When you recharge, top up, or transfer, we record the amount, the recipient or biller reference, and the time of the transaction. We do not store your bank-account login or card PAN — payments are handled by Paystack.
2. How we use it
We use your phone number to sign you in, to deliver one-time codes, and to message you about transactions. We use transaction history to operate your wallet, calculate cashback, and run the recharge itself. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising inside kati.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum required to complete a recharge: the recipient line or meter number with the relevant biller, and the amount with Paystack when you top up. We respond to lawful requests from Nigerian regulators where compelled.
4. NDPR
kati is operated by MOAA TECH and is designed to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account, by writing to privacy@kati.ng.
